Morrow Earns P2PI ’40 Under 40′ Honors

Jon Morrow, VP, Group Creative Director at The Mars Agency, has been named to the Path to Purchase Institute’s second annual “40 Under 40” class of young executives who’ve already made significant contributions to their organizations and the industry.

Jon’s energy, empathy, positivity, transparency, talent and selflessness makes him one of the best and most dynamic leaders in The Mars Agency — and our industry.

When he joined Mars in 2017 to help build and grow our creative practice in Chicago, Jon already had an impressive book of work (including two Silver Reggies) compiled over 14 years as creative director at a Windy City ad agency and several years as an independent freelancer. He currently is flexing his creative leadership on the agency’s 15+ year partnership with Campbell Soup Company, and has been the catalyst behind several notable and award-winning campaigns, including “Sip, Dip & Smile” and “Joy Night In.”

“Jon has gained the respect of his clients, peers and team members, and he inspires them all to drive success,” says Mars’ Global CEO Rob Rivenburgh.

A true steward of the industry and its future, Jon consistently mentors young creatives and students, and he often volunteers as a judge across various industry award circuits. He believes in ideas that create impact and a team culture that constantly reminds people just how fun their jobs and this industry can — and should — be.

If asked, Jon would attribute much of his success to three very simple strategies: be nice, surround yourself with smart people, and get to bed at a reasonable hour.
